Fujairah Foundation for Regions Development is a developmental foundation concerned with community affairs, headquartered in the Emirate of Fujairah.
Establishment of the Foundation
Established pursuant to Local Law No. (1) of 2010, issued by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Federation, Ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah (may God protect and preserve him).
The Foundation is chaired by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Foundation (may God protect and preserve him).
The Objective of Establishing the Foundation
Providing a decent life for citizens in the needy category, represented by:
- Those with limited income
- Senior citizens
- Widows
- Orphans
- Divorced women
- People of determination
- Or families whose breadwinner has passed away and whose debts have accumulated
With the aim of enhancing family stability and social welfare, in addition to other community programs and activities.

The Foundation's scope and activity are focused on the housing and community aspect, represented by:
The Foundation has also given great attention to developmental projects of a community nature, where its interest in establishing community councils has emerged to promote values, instill the spirit of cooperation and community solidarity, and consolidate the bonds and cohesion among members of society and support a family system built on respect and stability. The Foundation also took the initiative to establish playgrounds in mountainous areas far from sports club centers, embodying participation in occupying young people's free time with everything beneficial to them.
